Jean-Claude Giuntini is the current U-19 Head Coach of the French National Team. In 2015 he served as the Head Coach of the U-17 French National team where he led the team to the European Championship and qualified for the U-17 World Cup held in Chile. Giuntini is highly regarded as an expert coach for youth player development. He is responsible for the technical administration of Clairefontaine (the French Football Federation headquarters) where the best players from across the country come together to train and compete. In addition to his role with the French youth national team, Giuntini is the lead instructor for the Elite Formation Coaching License offered through the French Football Federation, which has the reputation as being one of the most intensive and demanding coaching licenses in the world for youth development.
